Question Require a Watch forbetwwn $300 - $650 can you help?

I'm a bit of a geek and love watches with gadgets and Ive found a couple of watches that fit my criteria. Really I want the Seiko SNP007 Coutura, it looks so good and I've had another Seiko for the last 8 years that ive had absolutely no issues with its just a bit used now, and id like something for best. The problem is I only seem to be able to get the Seiko from Amazon in the US and because of that the shipping costs and import tax double the price from around £200 ($312) as sold currently in US, to £406 ($633). I'm still contemplating it as this is definitely the best looking perpetual calendar kinetic or automatic watch I can find. I plan to leave it in my draw for most of the week so something that can keep time when not in use is perfect for me. However for £250 ($390) I can get the Citizen Eco-Drive Calibre 8700 #BL8000-54L which has even more tricks up its sleeve (alarm second time zone) it just doesn't look as good.

I wondered if there were any other watches available that were around this price that have the charge from moment or sun and perpetual calendars, or if there are any other ways of getting hold of the SNP007 in the UK (does it have a different model number in the uk), or should I just pay the £400, is it worth it? My constraints are budget $650/£400 limit is an absolute maximum Id like something self powered and can keep time, stainless steel and silver, I also don't want a chronograph or anything too busy, the Citizen is about as busy as I can bare.
any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks

I'm pretty sure I can't link you to a live auction per the forum rules, but if you want a SNP007, search on ebay. I very quickly found a new one that would ship to here in Australia from a reliable seller for less than A$400. I have bought many Seikos via ebay with no issues.

Steve, aren't you comparing amazon.co.uk price with .com there. I doubt it would cost anywhere near that much to ship to UK from .com ?
