Question Is it safe to manually hand-wind an automatic movement?

This question refers specifically to the Sellita SW200 movement.

And secondly, how many turns of the crown would it take to reach full wind?

Can I damage the movement by doing this?

    Thanks...

No you can not damage it, as once it reaches full wind, the spring will just slip.
Around 30 winds should see it near fully wound. The manual system on autos is not as robust as many manuals I understand, but they are still designed to be wound.
I personally wind my watch fully every 3rd or 4th day, have done for many many years, and never one issue
    Rowhyd and YoungGPS like this.

Rome was not built in a day, but i was not on that job!
