We featured the Solstice Ti Automatic as part of our Baselworld previews last month. It comes in a titanium case, equipped with a modified ETA 2892 movement with additional modules to display a second time zone in the sub-dial, and also features a Big Date. Reaction to it at Baselworld was extremely favourable.

This new addition to the Solstice range was only posted on the Bentley Facebook page on Tuesday and it has already amassed well over 4,000 likes. So it’s already a much admired watch.

The cushion shaped Solstice collection reflects Bentley designer's artful interpretation of light and darkness, the original design concept was inspired by winter solstice occurring over mountain peak Monte Rosa, Switzerland. The new Solstice Date Display Ref.81.35010, is wrapped in a diamond like carbon coated stainless steel case, the dial face features date display in a crescent shaped aperture window at 3 o'clock position, and the index hour markers are plated in rose gold adding contrast and design appeal to the watch. The red tipped second hand sweeps across the dial surface over red accented minute markers, signifying the sunrise and sunset on Winter Solstice.
