Both movements a very robust. I don't think you'll have any problem with them. However, the ETA has an EOL (End-Of-Life indicator) and the battery-life of the RONDA is two years better.
And except movement, what may explain the different prices could also be the treatment of the dial. On the old one, there is no Luminova on hour markers. The dial itself is also flat and matte on the old version, which is not the case on the new Alliance (you have a sun-ray effect no relevant on the Amazon picture). And finally the hour markers are completely different. The faceted markers on the new version are more complicated to make, and allow a better readability in every situation.
Maybe someone here have experience with one of those two models?
