Watch with no face? No digital display, no hands???

Have any of you see this?

It's the Mute Watch! The face is totally blank! Also has a vibrating alarm function and countdown timer!

Comes in black, white or red.

So, how do you know what time it is? Simply tap the face, and the time is displayed!

    What do you guys think?

Read more about it at the companies website, mutewatch.com!

It sort of looks like one of those house arrest bracelets. Maybe the newest trend for gangsta rappers?

A touchscreen watch seems interesting but I like iGucci's blank face digital watch better.

I guess somebody will buy it, but not me. It's the opposite of what I like in watches.

You mean you want to be able to see the time?

Nothing new. Tap screen technology goes back to the original LED watches of the 70's.

I don't want to have to tap my wrist to be able to see the time.

The P1 was one of several from Pulsar that led the charge to electronic digital watches 40 years ago. To view the time for a few seconds simply push a button. Otherwise the display remained blank as an attractive ruby tinged black panel. Battery consumption was the primary reason for the LED display to be replaced by the LCD, but the secondary reason for it's short life was convenience. Time could not be told at a glance as with the more successful LCD digital display.
