    When you die....

When you die would you like to be buried wearing a watch? I'm almost never without a watch on my wrist. I expect to pass all my watches on to some family members, except one. I'm not thinking of putting something real valuable down with me, just something functional to fill that everyday feeling. Perhaps something with tritium and a ten year lithium battery. How about you?

I'll probably be cremated so no point ruining a good watch so no, I won't be wearing one. Probably wouldn't need one where I'm going anyway

I signed my organ donor line on the back of my license. After the organ bank is done, assuming they find anything worth harvesting, they can slide me into the Soylent Green tanks for all I care and I won't need a watch there.

    Re: When you die....

I'd like something with some lume so that if I get buried alive, I'll know what time it is when I crawl out and find the people that buried me.... Then I would get all of the watches back that my wife sold to you guys... YES, I will find you.

Sorry, I'm in Hawaii and I've been 'partaking' in the festivities...
    Respectfully,
    Paul

On the contrary, I intend to live forever =P

Nah but seriously, I feel like it'd be a bit of a waste. Maybe if I had a vintage watch that wasn't worth much.

I apply the Patek advertising to my entire collection.

When I am dead and gone it is my great wish that my son will be going out for the evening with his wife and family, take a moment to chose one of those watches that his "Old man" was so crazy about....and for that moment that he's picking one out, he'll remember something we did together....shooting hoops, playing tennis, going to a football game or basketball game together, or just anything at all that will make him smile.

    (my son is 11 now)

What, too much Poi and a few too many Primo's Paul? Lol!

I won't be taking anything with me when I go. Since I never had children (that I know of ) I'll probably have my toys auctioned off for charity.

Maybe. I have an Invicta I wouldn't mind going up in smoke when I do. I understand the crematoria don't like heavy metal though. Hard on the bone mills I guess.

    Simple answer: NO.

If I am dead I don't need to know what time it is. Can't see any benefit to be burried with a watch on my wrist.
