Who services ll of your different brands of watches?

It's very difficult to find a horologist/watch maker in my country to service watches.
    Do you Guy's:

    1. Have one guy for all your watches who will service any watch, even if it is uncommon?
    2. Send your watches back to their respective manufacturer for servicing?

Im wondering, as I have a few seiko's, a stienhart and soon will have a Prometheus. Seiko are pretty common, but Prometheus and stienhart are not, and I am having trouble locating someone who will service all brands.

Regarding the Prometheus and steinhart, don't they use standard ETA movements? I assume any watchmaker can work on them if that's true.....

Hmmm, I would think that those would be pretty standard as well. Don't watchmakers have a steady supply of different size gaskets and seals?

Every time I go to my guy, he has Ziploc baggies full of different sizes and just puts em on.

    Again, I could be wrong.....

Re: Who services ll of your different brands of watches?

I used to send my watches to their respective oficial service centers. With the prices more and more prohibitives, I was extremely lucky to find an excellent local watchmaker to whom I send all my watches, now. Never had a problem, what is much more then I have to say about some "0ficial centers".
