My Longines has an ETA A07.111 movement which is modeled after the 7750 but in a somewhat larger format. It definitely exhibits the wobble, which surprised me the first time I felt it. Sometimes I look at the movement when I shake it a little to watch the rotor spin madly.

I have felt the wobbling on my Breitling Super Avenger which has a modified 7750.
Watches don't get any bulkier than that. Also, when I put my ear to it I can hear the spinning. It's a nice feeling to feel it's somewhat alive in there.

I have a Hamilton khaki Chronograph that I have noticed wobble a couple times. Compared to an Asian clone that did it regularly & with more force. When the Hamilton does it is is quite subtle.
No, I doubt it was any kind of alarm, it was definitely this wobble phenomenon, but as I stated, now knowing that it was the result of the rotor spinning up, I don't know how it was set off because I was just holding it and perhaps tilting it side to side to look at the face.

That's exactly right, feels alive! Very unique sensation and worth the price of admission alone, imo.

I never considered an exhibition back where one can watch the rotor spin madly. So what exactly do you do, you just shake it a bit in your hand and it will occur every time?

Yep, just jiggle it so that the rotor moves counter-clockwise (opposite the direction that the rotor winds it) and off it goes.

Thumbs Up Wobble here, and I LOVE it...

My UTS 600M uses a top-grade 7750 (unmodified, save for decoration and a personalized rotor), and I love that I can feel it stretch its legs with a quick flick of the wrist. That's right, all 250 grams of this beast exhibits the trademark wobble, and truth be told, I would've been disappointed if it didn't; this is my first (and thus far only) 7750-powered chronograph, and I was looking forward to experiencing this venerable workhorse in all its glory.

Actually, this fast free spinning is VERY noticeable on 2 notable Laco watches that use the Miyota 8215. There's a thread about this exact behavior on these 2 watches on the Laco forum,

Yep, wobbles. Love that it does actually, unique and lets reminds I am wearing a watch :)
