Picture Aqua Terra - Canadian Arctic edition

With all the recent AT love going on in the forum, I was inspired to take some more snaps. Here I am enjoying the new Aqua Terra while taking in some beautiful Canadian winter.

Yes it's below freezing here but not so bad as long as your prepared.

These gloves allow me to answer my phone without having to take them off

    Cappuccino warm up!

As you can see, I'm thoroughly enjoying the AT. My only real gripe involving the butterfly clasp has fixed it's self somehow. It just snaps in as it should now, requiring very little effort. I guess the mechanism needed to be worked in..

I hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Great watch and pictures! I think the only thing better than owning an AT, is owning two of them. One in each dial colour.

I'm looking at getting a PO, but all these pics of the silver dial make me want to get my gray dial a friend.

    Thanks JP,
Did you order the silver dial?

Both flavors are great. I bought the lighter dial because all of my other watches have dark or black dials.

My collection feels rounded out and complete for now. I'm only missing some accessories that still haven't arrived..

Love your pics. The 3rd and 4th really highlight what I personally think is so special about the AT---those markers that 'come out" of the dial, for lack of a better word. The dial is really cool.

I always love seeing your photos of "my" watch. I haven't gotten around to taking any pictures of my AT, but I don't think I could do any better than yours so I have one of yours for the background on my phone :)

I wondered when people complained about the clasp, I haven't had any trouble with mine. I notice if you open the logo'd side first, it works perfectly. The other side kind of tucks in underneath the logo'd side... maybe for better seamlessness or security, not sure. But just a small tip/trick to open it if you are having trouble with it. I'm still beyond happy with mine, haven't worn another watch since getting it almost a month ago, which is a rarity for me. I will look forward to the next round of pictures.

Wow an other 2 AT prospect! That would make an interesting thread ☺!
Having said that, I couldn't imagine not having the PO in my collection. Actually the same goes for my other 2 Omegas..

    Thanks acdelco,
I agree, the markers are really faceted and pop nicely. This combined with the light dial makes it very legible in dim light.

    Watchmego,
I’m honored that you’re using one of my shots as phone wallpaper! This still doesn’t get you out of posting 1 or 2 snaps of yours They don't have to be portfolio print quality. Here is one taken with my phone of my AT all dressed up.

The problem I had with the clasp was getting it locked on. @ first I would need to push harder to hear the click. If I didn’t hear the click then I knew it could come apart with a bit of force / wrist movement. Now that the mechanism is worked in, I just press it down normally and it clicks.

that seems almost too much an indulgence. And deciding which one to wear? ohmelord.

The AT is one watch I definitely want to see in person. Hard to believe, but 3000+ posts and more than passing interest in Omegas and I've only now discovered the Aqua Terra

    better late than never .
