    Deville CoAx Rattrapante...

May I know why we dont see any of these watches here???
Are we all about POs, Speedys, Bonds and vitage??? LOL

When I first started looking for a watch, me not knowing much about pricing, I went to Omega's website knowing it would probably be my first watch since IWC was WAYYYYY out of reach.

That Portuguese still makes me drool everytime I look at it...
Blue croc, blue arrows, the 2 sub dials...

Ok, back to my little story:
My brother had the BOND and I didnt want the same watch.
So while browsing, I saw this:

And I thought, that's it, I found my watch!!!
It really was one of the best Omegas to me...
And then, of course, I found out the price and forgot about it...
But I would loooooove to see some wrist shots!

    Thanks guys...

You answered your own question Vince! They are stunning looking watches though. Not sure what category it firs into. Sporty or Dress? It really covers all bases. I like the one that was on the cover of the 2006 hardback catalogue best.

If you ever get the chance to look at the underside of an Aston Martins wing mirror; you will notice it is made by Volvo. - Snootydog.

    I LOVE this watch.

It's probably my next serious buy. I will go for the basic version, though. No Rattrapante here...

And if I'd play to the "no limitation" game, I would certainly go for the GMT rose gold version

    Fantastic watch...

The Chronoscope DeVilles are among my favorite watches...

I don't know if I'd need the Rattrapante, but there's a GMT model I think with a grey dial and a brushed finished case which looks fantastic...

You're right... It's hard to classify...
But to me, it's kind of a best of both worlds...
But again, the price tag on this thing is out of this world!!! LOL

Wouldnt we all love to play the "no limitation game" ???

But with a price tag of over 11k, wouldnt you get something else?

    I don't know… I've got a big problem, when I want something, nothing else matters, and I can't find a substitution :/

So right now, I'm obsessed with the idea of having a Chronoscope (the same you picked, black dial with white subdials, but without the rattrapante, which is ridiculously expensive, and for which I have no use).
I couldn't think of another watch (well, swiss watch I mean €€€€) for the moment. Too bad it wont last

Anyway, it's not gonna happen until my watchmaker don't drop the price of at least 20%… what he offered last time was a mere 12,8% and it's nooooooot enough.
    Too expensive, my friend

Hippocampus, the model you chose is second best on my "no limits list" after the rose gold one GMT again…
