It's still one of my "go-to" watches. Mine isn't going anywhere.

The new Z-33 has a nifty case, but I still prefer the X-33's radial display. Mine's not going anywhere.

You gentlemen are not making my current quandary any easier!

My X-33 is scheduled to arrive back to me today after being back and forth to Swatch three times (for one service)... I've almost forgotten what it's like to wear. We'll see.

It's not quite that simple, but that is a factor, yes. I don't ever want to be in a position where I am obligated to use Swatch for service (as I was here). I realize others have had great service experiences, I am not one of them. I've also been without the watch since early February due to the mistakes and back and forth, so have become used to others.

As I said, I will see. I'll have it back tomorrow.

Yeah, okay....I can understand that point of view. Japan Swatch in Osaka, where I send my Omegas, may just give better service than other overseas Swatch depots. I recently had my gen1 battery sent to Osaka from my local electronics store which sells Omega, Rolex etc. I was quoted 3,000yen or around $38usd...and I think that was fair price. I was told that if anything else needed fixing, then they would have to use their full service rate.

Just a quick update and some iPhone snaps... Mine is now back from service and looking good... it got a new movement/module (in addition to a new crown and one pusher plus the other testing/shoring up they do), but I don't know if it's the thermocompensated one! Not a big deal, just curious. Comforting to know now this will run solid for years to come.

    Cheers,
    HBL
