Very interesting watch. While I don't really "get" it and could never see myself wanting one ... it is easy to see that it would be the grail of anyone who is a serious diver and serious watch fan. Congratulations on your new watch and congratulations on having such a wonderful wife.

Interestingly, when I saw the watch, it kinda reminded me of a Millennium Falcon for the wrist ;)

168g with the mesh, 169g with the rubber. So I would say no, not a big difference.

It is indeed. Post some pictures if you end up getting the Breitling strap.

I completely understand not everyone loving this watch. Even I hated it the fist time I saw it. I do find myself attracted more to watches that are impervious to the elements and even though I'm not a serious diver, I like to think that I'm a serious swimmer.

    Thanks guys!

Who would have thought the rubber strap a gram heavier than the mesh.

That is one hell of a watch, congrats! Impressed how they still able to put sapphire caseback on a watch with such depth rating. It's a statement watch that says IDGAF

Thank you for ruining the shape of this watch for me forever. It will now be the Millennium Falcon watch in my eyes.
