The last few remaining PO2500 found, .. but ...

Hi guys. Have been lurking here of late while researching for my new watch.
As the title suggest, i have my eye on the.42mm po2500 and i found the last remaining few in an AD. There only reservation i have is my wrist is 6 1/4 inches . (flat surface)
My sweet spot is 38 to 40mm, so i am a bit worried to take the plunge.... But i CAN'T stop thinking about the watch. The fact its a now or never situation does not help one bit.
I tried it on at the AD, and it looks a touch big. What do you guys think?
Better yet, any wrist shots of a PO on a 6 ,1/4 inches wrist?

Welcome to the forum hotmama. Your wrist size sounds a touch small but you never know. We would need to see pics although you have stated that "it looks a touch big" which means it probably is. Have you thought about buying the 37.5mm PO 8500? That would fit you perfectly.
    Cheers,

    Dan

I'd go for it - you should have no trouble selling it again if it doesn't grow on you.

If you think it looks big your probably right

Although a mesh or an isofrane would make it appear smaller if the one you tried on was on a bracelet

I will saye; go for it:) The PO Caliber 2500, 42mm is a really nice watch and i don't think you will have any problems selling it at a good price, if you don't think it fits your wrist after some time!

The PO 42mm allso feels pretty small for its size compeard to other watches at the same diameter. I have one my self, and i allso have a pretty small hand..

After buying a selling a decent amount of watches over the past few years I found what I really like in a watch. For me 42mm is perfect. Their is a watch out there that I absolutely love but at 45mm I'm not so sure I'll be happy with it in the long run. I want to put an end to selling watches and only buy keepers.

All that to say find out what you REALLY want and be willing to walk away from deals and watches if they don't fit the criteria.

The only way that we can offer a useful opinion is to see pics of it, on your wrist. My wrist is slightly under 6 1/2 inches, and on the rounder side. Not once in 2 1/2 years has anyone said, "Wow, that watch is huge!", or anything remotely similar. Here are a few wrist shots of my 42mm PO:

Your wrists are about the same size as mine. I think the PO is a great watch I just wish it was a little smaller...
I know they have the midsize version but it is a lot more expensive.

Hi guys. Thanks for all the replies. I had me heart set on the PO weeks back, but i had second thoughts when i tried on my friend's 40mm 14060 (about the size , not the watch) .
Anyhow, i am going for it! The PO is just stunning . Going to the city at the end of the month to get it.Will post pictures when i have it . I can't wait. Its going to be a long , long 2 weeks ....
