Congratulations! Great watch and great wife. If she wears a watch you could do a hers and his photo for Friday's WRUW.

I recently moved out of state, but have family in Plano so I visit often. I'll definitely try to come back if there's another GTG and will certainly be wearing the AT.

Great watch, great pictures, and great story. Enjoy it for many years to come. A lot of folks on this board are constantly flipping, and that's great if it works for them, but in my view it is nice to have a watch that you know you will never sell, that accumulates the scratches and dings with honor over the years, and that has a story (or stories) connected with it. Congrats!
Thank you! Yes, the sentimental value is more important to me than the cost of the watch and this will be "my watch" that grows old with me. I agree that it is nice to have that connection with your watch.

Very nicely put. The dial does have a life of its own, it changes color with the light and has an incredible sparkle. I can't see myself ever getting bored of it.

Thank you! She is a great wife indeed. I managed to get her interested in watches and gifted her a 12 watch box, which is now full. She doesn't have an Omega (yet), but we can take a hers and his photo with her favorite watch.

Fantastic story leading up to the acquisition of a very special timepiece. Wear it in good health and may your AT always remind you of your loving wife.
