Here are my two. If I am around town it is the 2001 Deuce but on the road it is tough to beat the Road Glide.

I know they are old man bikes but I guess it fits me. After I retire this August the Road Glide is going to be put to good use.

Pierre Terblanche and team had created a show bike in record time - they were overwhelmed by the public's reaction and response to the bike and decided to produce it. Now a non-functional (?) show bike had to be turned into a street-legal machine.

The stock tank contains 8 liters ..... that leaves you with a ridiculous range. I did often carry HD-powered gas-cans*

There is an after-market solution, though. Chris Kelley from CA Cycleworks has developed a much bigger (14.5 l) tank. You need to sacrifice the airbag and install (K&N) pod-filters. Version 2 of this tank also houses a bigger battery, replacing both side-mounted smaller units. Not sure if both v1 and v2 are still available, or v2 only (would be my choice - as an early adopter, I'm "stuck" with v1)

*friends had these on their touring rigs)
To be honest, I don't think this bike was designed to be actually ridden on the road with an 8 liter tank. Basically that gives you about 100 km, maybe a little more on highways, I guess it's okay if you just ride it around your local area.

Whao... that ca-cycleworks tank looks great! Unfortunately, the friend who bought this bike doesn't plan to ride it, he has it on display now.

Whoa, some of those bikes look really cool!
Unfortunately, the wife considers them, 'death traps' and I'm not allowed one.
Maybe, if they are that dangerous, I should get her one.
