LOL.. I don't think it's the teddy that's giving some of these guys confusing feelings.

If Omega were marketing directly at WIS, the ad would probably look something like this:

I’m sure it has nothing to do with the bear or Omega’s philanthropy but more to do with the non sequitur of showcasing Presley Gerber “knowing how cuddly” the bear is.

Omega isn’t uninformed and their marketing partner isn’t stupid. Their advertising strategy is accurate, and is thus more of a comment on a modern society whose value is that of pop culture and airy icons and less of achievements of humanity. It is why ads now feature Crawford’s beautiful, entitled children rather than human ingenuity.

    Omega really?

I printed this awesome Ad out and covered up a whole wall in my house with it. Love me some oversized teddy bears, too. So I have decided there's no choice and have ordered 19 of this new model as result.

My thoughts exactly. Such a ridiculous overreaction.

The cartoon character Snoopy means something to Omega as much as this Teddy Bear does. Lighten up, folks.

    THE TEDDY BEAR

OMEGA understands that going to the hospital can be scary so we supply Orbis International with cuddly teddy bears for each of its young patients. They comfort the children and their families and help the surgeons explain the treatment to the patients. Following the treatment, the teddy bear will have a matching eye patch.
