    Question Omega SMP Green Markers

I recently read that superluminova can be made in several different colors ranging from C1-White, C3-Yellow, C5-Greenish Yellow, and C7- Blue-Green. The article said that the color made no difference in the luminosity. My question is, why does Omega choose to use a greenish tinted superluminova on most of their SMP line? The new black Bond SMP seems to have white markings while the 2254 and others have green. I think that the white markings on the new Bond make the watch look more polished. I wondered why Omega has never used white markings on SMP's before. Any thoughts?

I don't know what the original source of this graphic is, but I borrowed it from another member (Malyel). As you can see, color definitely affects brightness.

What color do you think the 2254 uses? Possiby the C5? I still like the look of white dials against a black face so I'm surprised Omega didn't use something like BG W9 which looks almost pure white.

I think they are using C3. I don't think that chart represents the colour that is given off while charged and in the dark but the colour when not charged. Just look at C1, it's white but when charged it gives off a blue. The new Omega bond is probably using BG W9 which is white and gives off blue. Everyone knows that C3 is the brighest and it's a slight yellowish looking when not charged but gives off a very bright green.
