I could do with just the trio in the box. The other two (unplanned purchases) add just a bit more flavour

    I really love this idea

    My perfect 3 are

    Omega Speedmaster Pro
    Rolex GMT Batman
    Seiko H558 "Arnie"

I am 2/3 there, dont have the rolex. Maybe someday. If i could add a 4th it would be the IWC Pilot Chrono 3717

This is my three...I've been playing with the idea of swapping out the LE speedy but haven't found anything else I like enough to replace it with.

Speedy Pro Hesalite, Rolex GMT Master II BLNR, and Oris Aquis Depth Gauge Chronograph. I have the Speedy Pro and BLNR now waiting to get the Oris, There may be a wait due to new baby on the way and as a result a bigger house to buy!!

I actually hope to end up with a collection of about 10 watches but this may take some time

With the understanding that I will likely change my mind 10,000 times, my perfect three as of today are:
    Rolex Datejust
    Rolex Submariner
    Atomic Casio G-shock

These three seem like they'd cover me in every single situation I'm likely to encounter.
