You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.

Tweaked my three a bit so I thought I should throw in an update. Got rid do the Aqua Terra quartz and upgraded to the 8500 version. I'll loving this watch. It's sporty/dressy/casual. It's just a great all around watch to have in the collection. The speedy speaks for itself. The planet ocean gets the most wrist time and it is my absolute favorite (lots of great memories with the PO). Anyway these are current three. Thanks.

For me, and leaving aside "holiday" watches (Seiko 5, Blue Mako etc.) and dress (vintage Rolex 1003) these three seem to fit the bill

Generally worn on a weekly rotation of 3 days, 1 day, 3 days.

This is literally my collection with the addition of a 2220. What strap is that on your PO?

Here are my three Rolexes that I currently have:

My plan is to add 3 Omegas: Speedy Pro or FOIS, new 39.5mm PO and blue AT Master Co-ax

This is a long term plan though so might take awhile :P

That's so funny. I think my next purchase is going to be the Seamaster 300 either a 2220 or a 2531.80. Great tastes! The strap on the PO is from hodinkee. Here's the link. It's a great strap.

Re: The Perfect 3 Watch Rotation

I have actually been pondering the 3 watch collection. At present the collection stands on:

    And

    Name: Speedy.jpg

The third I love so much I will keep it as a 4th/beater/apocalypse watch:

I have a 2nd identical Black Bay I got in a trade, which when sold will be put towards the two watches that are haunting me:

Submariner - If get this, the BBB may be redundant. However, a black sub will be too bland compared to the BBB, so it would have to be a HulkC. Or I ad the hulk and keep the BBB and call it quits.

Enter the other girl at the dance:

Having the Speedy, hulk/BBB and the OP would be a much more balanced rotation. Black watches are easy to live with, but I like the touch of colour the Hulk and OP would ad to the black Speedy. I have a lot of thinking and saving to do. The BLNR is another option instead of a sub, which also adds a touch of colour.
