    Seamaster Electric Blue Bezel Change

I have the 2255 Seamaster Pro. I'm considering changing the bezel to the blue Bond bezel. Has anyone done this? If so, can you post a picture. Would the warranty be voided if the change is made?

    Hi,
I have done this, though not with the 2255. I changed the bezel of my 2234.50 (the two-tone black/silver) with a Great White bezel (all silver.)

    Here it is:

As far as I know, once you tamper with the watch without getting clearance from Omega, the warranty is voided. Then again....

In terms of how I did it, I went through hell. I think the electric blue looks fine though as it is though it wouldn't hurt to try....

i'd love to see a pic if you go through with it. i have thought that the dial of the 2255.80 is beautiful, but i have never been as excited by the bling bezel.

i have wondered how it would look, if the electric blue would clash with the duller bond blue bezel...

Some may say, get the Bond model. I prefer the Sword hands over the Skeleton hands. Sorry Bonds lovers.
I agree Joe, sometimes I rather not have the bling factor.

While it would probably void the warranty, I've removed the bezel on all of my SMPs at some point to clean them.

As long as you're careful, it really isn't difficult. Some people say you need a crystal press to get the bezels back on but I didn't... It was easier to snap them back on than it was to remove them.

I just used a case knife, but really, if you do it be careful please! I'd hate to have it on my conscience that my comment led to someone scratching up their watch or hacking one of their fingers off. Be weary of not bending the bezel as well.

I'm not so sure that the 2255.80 bezel will interchange with the Bond models..

I know that they will also with the 2554.50, and pretty sure with the GMT and the Great White...

Let us know how this turns out..
