    Seamaster seals

    Hi,

I am on the point of servicing my 10 year old bond seamaster. I am going to replace all of the seals, so my question am I missing any seals.

    I have the following.

    Case back seal
    Crystal seal
    Valve seal
    new crown with seal

that's all unless you have a chronograph model(pusher and gaskets)

don't forget the clasp spring and the spring bars while you at it, for 10 years they are ready to be retired.

If it hasn't ever been done and you use the watch for diving, I would recommend changing the helium valve as a complete unit. In doing so you would replace the Loctite on the thread that sits into the case which can be an issue for water resistance.

Got new spring bars, I will get a clasp spring had not thought about that.

I don't use the watch for diving, so is there an advantage to changing the whole escape valve rather than just the seal.
