Which stainless steel bracelet do you prefer? The PO or the SMP Bond bracelet?

It was the looks of the PO bracelet that steered me towards the PO when I got mine, so I prefer the PO bracelet.

I LOVE bracelets; never been a fan of straps, which is why the bracelet is also an important factor for my watch purchases. I personally feel that a watch's bracelet should never be altered or swapped for an alternative. I'm funny like that.

The SMP's bracelet is part of its appealing factor for me, which is one of the reasons why I have one! There is something so charming and unique about its individual links - especially the polished ones.

However... I do love the PO bracelet, and have nothing against it... bar the fact it is too similar to Rolex's bracelet used on the majority of their models. Feels like an inferior imitation, but it isn't that much of an issue for me.

That aside, I would love it as much as the SMP bracelet, but alas, I do not own a PO (yet!).

I've got to agree with some of the points mentioned here. Indeed, the PO bracelet looks good, but at the same time, it looks just like any other watch bracelet from other brands. Pretty generic. From what I know, the SMP Bond bracelet is the most unique available right now since I've not seen any other watches from different brands having that sort of bracelet...hmmm... Definitely one of a kind I think.

Some clasp says OMEGA Seamaster Professional Planet Ocean while I've seen some with just OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean. Mine has the Professional on the clasp. Does it have to do with the year the model was released or the movement between the 2500C and 2500D maybe?

Nothing to do with the 2500C or D .... The very early batch of PO has a slightly different inscription on its clasp ...

The PO bracelet (at least for the 42mm) was initially issued (in 2005) without 'Professional'. Shortly after (2006/2007 ?), the bracelets included 'Professional'.
