The Omega OEM straps are really kind of overpriced for what you get. Hirsch makes better stuff, and you can still use the Omega Deployment (which is worthwhile). You can order the Deployment from Ofrei.

And here's my Speedy on my Hirsch:
The great thing about Hirsch is that they make a wide variety of straps that are waterproof, generally to 100m. This model is a double-ridged Shark patterned (it's actually calf) kind known as "The Waterproof." They make a great Croc patterned one called "The Duke."

Here's my Speedy on a $35 Hirsch carbon fiber strap. I've had great luck with Hirsch.

My speedy is all wrapped up under the tree. I've got a hirsch liberty, hirsch carbon, nato and gasgasbones velcro for trying on tomorrow morning. I'm more excited than the children.
