I prefer that one too.
They must have sold them all though, because the following year, in 1998, it looks like Omega released the same watch as an LE (4500) again, which this watch is part of.

Strangely enough, I cannot find any info about that second release. The museum records could be wrong I suppose.

I am not a big fan of the first one either. Without the Dolphins I would. I guess that would defeat the purpose of the watch?
For a long time, I looked for one; then I saw a 90's Omega Seamaster (I think it was a quartz model) with a similar case (these cases were found on a few different models), and I saw it was really too small.
Looked like a lady's watch. I stopped wanting one.
