I am SOOO EXCITED about the 6309 reissue... that is awesome... I'm getting that black / gold one with a quickness**.
** when available.
What was the case size of the 6309?

Current Rotation: Seiko SARB035, Seiko SKX013, Baume et Mercier Classima
Box Sitters (waiting for repair): 1970 Seiko World Time; 1952 Omega Constellation; 1972 Zodiac Astrographic (Yeah, baby!); Stowa Antea KS (WTF Stowa? Broken after three years?); gold 1950s Hamilton of unknown model; Casio G-shock, the solar/radio model--fantastic watch, just little place in my rotation since acquiring a Seiko dive watch; a boring Tissot quartz PR50 I bought before I knew better)
I always found it odd that neither the skx007 -nor any of its ancestors- ever received a nickname. Maybe it was a sign of respect that we all memorised the ID numbers and referred to them all by their one true names...
For this new one... Seiko Sword works but I reckon 777 will stick.
Heck, wanna just call the series the Number Divers... ?
