22mm Watchadoo on my Mini Monster - Bars too thin?

    Hi Guys
Im trying to fit a watchadoo to my mini monster (SNZF45K) but after taking the original strap off it looks like the bars are too thin, and the 2.5mm bars supplied by watchadoo are too thick.
If I put my bars in the watchadoo, they just rattle around, and the end pins on the supplied bars are too fat for the dilled holes in the lugs.

Am I missing something here, I may be as Im still a noob :)

    Pic below to illustrate.

This is were it helps to do a little research before you buy. the minimonster uses standard spring bars. Watcahdoo used to make their bracelets for standard spring bars, but no more. Their bracelets now only take fat seiko diver springbars (which seiko only uses in their ISO rated divers).

To make your standard springbar fit, you need to make a spacer for it to take up the slack inside the bracelet's springbar hole. Thankfully you already have everything you need. on a fat seiko springbar (which BTW is not what is in your picture), if you remove the springloaded ends, as well as the springs, you will end up with the solid center tube. a standard springbar should be able to slide right into that center tube, with it's spring loaded ends sticking out at either end. Now you have a standard springbar with a fat spacer that will work for your needs.

Isthmus, you save the day again, it seems your forever pulling my ass outta the fire :)

Cheers for that, Ive got a couple of options available, I was gonna buy a monster so the strap could be trimmed to fit that, or I get a couple of seiko fat spring bars (the ones pictured are the ones supplied by watchadoo and I'm unable to do a comparison with the iso ones as I dont have any).

I'll see if the supplied ones will work when cut down and see about buying that Monster :)

You could just buy 2.5 mm spring bars with regular ends. The problem is that the spring bar ends do not fit the holes on the lugs of your watch correct? Check on the bay I think I have seen fat bars with regular diameter ends. Good Luck.

    Regards,

    Ren
