Not the Monster, but JakeB in Hong Kong did both to this Hybrid 6309 casing....Noah Fuller had beadblasted it first...then Jake added his creativity...

Motorcity has reasonable prices. Takes 2 months though.

    Re: Black Monster DLC

Hey, so you actually have one of the motor city mods?! I have been curious to find out how folks like 'em. How is the coating? Does it seem nice and smooth? The reason I ask is that I have seen some Cerkote jobs on knives, etc that looked a little rough. Kind of like when someone sprays spraypaint too heavy in one spot and it looks uneven. I have been thinking about getting a monster just to have it coated like this. Can you give a rough estimate on how much that mod job cost you and what all you had done to it?

This is a great looking mod from Harold.

I have to look into one of these at some point.

    Re: Black Monster DLC

Check out motorcitywatchworks.com for prices. I had mine done in blue titanium with the crown done in graphite black. ($125) It came out great. The finish is perfect. Very smooth. Nothing like what you mentioned. Looks professionally done. I've had it for almost 2 years and there's no wear. The coating lasts better than just plain stainless. Can't see any scratches. It takes about 2 months, but its worth the wait.

That is gorgeous. This is the main reason I want to get a monster. So that I can have it coated like this. Thanks for the pic and the explanation!
