It would be fun if some Grand Seikos where exposed in movies in the future. That could mean that Seiko could replace their Omega stands today beacause Omega is going upmarket closer to Rolex.
Roger Moore's James Bond actually wore a few Seikos... A 0674 in The Spy Who Loved Me, the TV Watch in Octopussy and a few others in A View to a Kill, Moonraker and For Your Eyes Only. Does anyone know the specific models from these films? The one from A View to a Kill looks quite sharp. And apologies for being a smart-ass ;-)
Back on topic, I think the Spring Drive Marinemaster would work well. Bond always wears a dive watch!
That's a unique idea, indeed. Why not? Could be some other (serial / multi episode) movies where actors use Seiko divers or GS or SD models. It is very possible, indeed.
I wonder if Seiko ever contacts movie makers or actors.
I dont know. Maby Seiko refuses to take their expensive watches on famous actors . But Omega would be say thanks to the actors and ambasadours who wears their watches.
