    Citizen Auto GN-4W-S 51-1439

This is a very old Citizen I got from my grandfather, anyone could enlighten me on its movement / model? I tried searching for the numbers but couldn't get anything. Anyway tested its accuracy last night and it's amazing for such an old watch, minus 2 seconds after one whole day.

Hello, did you change the capacitor. Which one was it?

Hi there, you have a great watch in your hands. My wife bought me the manual version of this exact watch back in 1983 and it stopped working this month (May 2011). It kept perfect time for all those years and I was never once tempted to replace it. However, I am uncertain as to whether to get it repaired. Unfortunately I have no info on the movement for you. Cheers, Dave
