Domed Sapphire Mods

I decided to post this in the Seiko/Citizen section despite the fact that I do not own either brand unfortunately.. But I am asking here because it seems that Seikos are modded frequently and usually with domed/bubbled sapphire...

Honestly, if I could have it MY way, I would have all my watches with a gorgeous bubble chunk of sapphire. there is just something very magical that it does for the dial and the whole watch. The way it plays with light and shadows seems to give any watch a higher quality look and feel..

Anyway, I am curious to know where everyone is getting these bubbled crystal from! I have found several sites that sell sapphire crystal, but they are hardly bubbled and do not offer AR coating.

So, questions:
1. Where can I get these sapphires at and how broad is the range of sizes? - both diameter and thickness
2. Can I put a domed sapphire on a watch without a diver bezel? I would like to swap my sapphire for a bubble on one of my wittnauer watches.

As far as sizes you'll just need to know what size crystal your watch takes but two of the places people here get them for Seiko's is from Jake at 10watches or Harold at yobokies.

I can't figure out how to buy anything from Yobokies. I am also looking for a sapphire crystal for a SKX009 and 10watches does not carry them yet.

I've had domed crystals for my skx031 before, but the ones jake has in right now are amazing.. SUPER domed. Yobokies has great ones too.

Yep Jake's SUPER domed are nice I had one on the 031 Mil Sub mod, it was like a sky slope.

HAHAA! now that IS a real sapphire! Well, To be honest, I would love to find a domed/bubbled sapphire crystal large enough to fit a Nixon 51-30... yes i said nixon.. try not to beat me up too badly :D
