    Eco Drive movement pics?

Ok, I've always been interested in what's inside the watches I own.. there's hundreds of pictures to be found thru google image search for the Rolex, Audemars Pigues and other high end swiss brands, but I can't for the life of me find a picture of any of the current eco drive Citizen movements.. I've got one of the new Signature Series watches and I tried to google images of the G910 movement with no luck. Does anyone have any links either inside or outside this forum for pictures of even other eco-drive movements? I'd love to see the workmanship since I understand that at least the higher end ones are hand assembled.

Here are some pics of the movement in my Citizen Promaster SST JW0010-52E caliber U700. 11 jewels, but not all that pretty.

thanks for the pics and links fellas... but doesn't' it seem odd that with the literally millions of these sold, that there isn't a lot of pics on google? Also, should there be some pics of the higher end movements like in the signature and higher lines?

Since they practically never have to be opened up, it's not surprising there aren't many pictures of the movements.

I found a pic of mine, the E101, as shown at esslingers.com selling for $45.95.

IMO, it's more interesting to see the moving parts of a mechanical watch and how each component gets put together to achieve close to accurate timekeeping. Unless I get titillated in seeing micro circuit boards and batteries, there really is nothing interesting to see in the movement of a quartz watch. That's not to say that quartz watches are ugly. I'm just talking about movements here.

An analog quartz watch has many of the same mechanical elements. They have very intricate gear trains in addition to the circuits. You just usually can't see those parts but they are definitely there.

That's what I meant, more people are interested in what they can see. I'm guessing that's why there are more photos out there of mechanical movements than quartz.

that''s what I'm talking about... that looks quite nice too. I mean you'll see Breitling and other quarts movements all the time, and if they're nicely decorated it's a treat to see... This one is very nice.
