    Here's A New One.......SBEE001 Diver

This is actually a remake of a 7c43-7a00 vintage Seiko. Seiko definitely experimented with some funky designs.

    I like it.

It's got a luddite Frogman vibe to it.

I didn't know Seiko designers dropped acid.
God, that's horrid. Gotta love 'avante guard' styling. Different for putrid different sake.
Oh, its different alright...lol. A Japanese version of Andy Warhol lives.

How exactly did you source this via seiya? Did you send them a model number to hunt down?

I was just browsing their site and there it was. I'd never heard of it, seen it, or anything. I thought it was different, and the blue was very appealing. I googled it, the few places that had it were in the $450-$500 range and it was $319 on Seiya, I figured for $300 bucks it would be something different for sure. I bought it and within a few hours it was "sold out". I believe there's only 2,000 of them. Just a spur of the moment purchase.......again, lol. I can't stop. Buy, sell, buy, sell, buy sell, trade.....

May I know the lug to lug of this guy?

    Thanks!
Measuring 43.8mm wide, 48mm lug to lug, and 11.2mm thick, on what looks like a somewhat thin silicone strap, the proportions of the offset case are even more pronounced. Over the dial is "curved glass." While in the Seiko Prospex collection, the dial does not indicate that but it does indicate the case's 200m water resistance. Inside the Seiko Prospex Diver Scuba SBEE001 and SBEE002 Giugiaro Design is the 7N36 quartz movement with an accuracy of -/+ 15 seconds per month that indicates the time, date, and day of the week.

I'd be all over it if it run on the 7C43 or at least an automatic movement. Nice catch though.
