I'm more than happy with my SKX watches. If I wanted something "better" I wouldn't have bought them.

I thin if they release an upgraded one, it should definitely have drilled lugs.

I'd pay $1000 for an SKX007 with sapphire, ceramic bezel or at least the type on the LE 027 sumo, applied markers, 6r15, SEL bracelet, and better brushing on the case. So pretty much a MM300 with a less costly movement and smaller case.

You can practically do just that for less. I'm personally starting with an SKX007 w/ NH36, flat sapphire, DLW ceramic bezel insert, Crystal Times coin-edge bezel, SRP585 dial. Case finishing is the only piece left out. Of course, this is modded route.

Not into modding but I give kudos to those that do!

A proper upgrade would be to enhance the 7s26 movement into not showing day and date. They are great complications don't get me wrong, but a completely symmetrical dial like the no date sub would be great. Then the only reason to ever get a sub would vanish.

    Also, simplicity is always desirable.
