    Heheheheheheh......

You know, Shannon, the vast majority of them came from our good ole' favorite seller from Japan.

But there are some vintage ones that came from well respected guys in this hobby. Also, a lot of the multiples you guys are seeing came from some serious consolidation of my collection........ya know, those $200, $300 impulse buy watches that we start amassing and then all of a sudden you are full of watches that seldom are worn.

I had a lot of such watches......then I decided what I wanted to pursue in this hobby (Seiko diver's are 80% of my focus) and got rid of everything that wasn't on my targeted focus.

That's how I started to collect seriously the multiples of the ones I loved the most (all the tuna range, in this instance).

I still need a good maintained 6159 tuna and the grails of all grails, the coveted SBDX005. I don't see the urge for a 7549 300m tuna, but you never know what's in the cards for you in the future in this crazy hobby.....;)

So what's your favorite Tuna? Is there a universally loved Tuna, sort of like the SKX007? I've heard good stuff about the SBBN007.
I've also heard that Tuna's wear high, but look smaller on the wrist than in photos. Are they mostly similar in size?
I don't mind quartz, but I do have a question about it. Will the batteries for these Tunas get phased out with time?
And is replacing the battery difficult?
The 300m regular Tuna SBBN007/15/017 (steel shroud) will fit like a glove on a 6.5" wrist. If you prefer the all-black "Darth Tuna" (SBBN011/019), it sits a bit taller and has a ceramic shroud and fitment is good even on smaller wrists. Weight isn't an issue with the steel-shrouded Tunas until you jump up to the even bigger automatic "Emperor Tuna" but that's subjective. Battery is as good as rated (5 years). Battery change on the SBBN007/015/017 is easier due to its screw-on back. You may need to send the Darth (SBBN011/019) to a Seiko watch repairer for battery change due to its one-piece monocoque case.

The favorite and universally loved Tuna? Well, it's usually the one sitting on the wrist at any given moment. Can't go wrong with any Tuna, really.

So, the SBBN015's movement can also be accessed from its back? I'm leaning toward this one.

I think the SBBN015 is the one I'd go for, and just to help push it over the edge being the enabler I am. Here's one more pic I found that just looks bad a**!

Just have to say that you guys have some amazing collections.

And some of you guys even collect the same model Tuna nearly five times over!

You guys have got it bad! I currently just want one, but I can see why it's nearly impossible to stop at that once you've caught the fever.
