    My newest watch. Seiko diver

This is my first post, so i thought i'd start it of with a few pics of my newest watch. Its a SNDA15 P1. I though about this or an orange monster, but in the end this won due to the 12hour chrono, which is a feature i use.
(forgive the quality of the pictures but i'm really crap with a camera)
    here it is

    dive extension

it really is a big beast. i've worn it for about an hour and dont think I can live with it. It feels uncomfortable and the huge crown can dig in to your hand. I was looking forward to this watch, but may end up selling it.

    what do you guys think?

Welcome to the forum, mungosdad! I really like the looks of that dive chrono, but it's size is not for the faint of heart (or wrist). I've had some watches where the crown bothered me, and I've found that I get used to it after a few days. You might want to give it a little longer and see if you can adjust to it. Or maybe tighten up the bracelet a notch and try to wear it a little higher on the wrist? Either way, it's a great looking watch - thanks for sharing!
    Regards,

    Gabe

I have grown to like big watches. This Seiko looks like a really nice big watch.

I found them easier to wear with the bracelet a little loose and with the watch down to the back of my hand. I like to have enough space at the clasp, to be able to insert my little finger between the clasp and my wrist.

i saw another model which has exactly the same case, but it's a kinetic diver, no chrono... it is definately huge... it's a nice looking watcg i must say, but because of it's size might not be suitable for some... but u should give it a little more time, maybe you'll get used to the size n weight

I've the black version. Initially I had the same problem of the crown digging in. The bracelet and watchheadcombo is heavy. I changed to a Di-Modell chronissimo and haven't looked back. but if you stick with the bracelet than you'll have to give it some more time and see whether you can get used to it.

many years ago i started to wear my manual watches on my right wrist, i avoided the crown cutting into the back of my hand, and the watches get more wrist action as i am a righty... i noticed as well that i would hit my left wrist into more things than my right one, thus experience less scratches... for me it seems that i subconsciously control where my right hand is than my left... like to wear them loose, i can always slip a fingertip under the wristband, i live in the tropics and too tight would be most uncomfortable - beautiful watch, well done, it is next one on my list
