Here's a link that has many pics of the Strapcode bracelet on the 009:
Just got the Strapcode Super Oyster for my SKX009
Hope this helps.
Just pulled the trigger on this one. Got a $50 amazon gift card for birthday and got it for $171.25. Stoked!
hiro1963, thank you for posting so many wonderful pictures of this diver. Have been a lurker on WUS for a long time, but this thread got me excited enough to formally join so I can chime in here.
Ordered one of these this morning from JCPenney online, $221 less 10% more with online FEBSHOP coupon, $199+. Thanks to mplsabdulllah for pointing out the JCP sale, ends today by the way.
Will be ordering a Di-Modell Denver set, black leather with blue stitching, later today. Also curious about the Super Engineer II SS band mentioned by cold_beer839. Would the spring bars on the BN0151-09L work with the Super Engineer II or would I need to order different spring bars?
This will be my second dive watch, my first being a Seiko SNE107. Not a diver myself, but being a senior, I really appreciate the easy to read dials and great lume for checking the time at night.
Will be posting side by side pics of the BN0151-09L and the SNE107 for comparison purposes for other prospective buyers.
First of all, welcome to the forum! Glad to hear I was able to help you to join the forum.
Well, the diameter of the spring bar holes of the SE II is 2.5mm, so 2.0mm x 1.1mm Citizen spring bars will fit , but loosely. 2.5mm spring bars come with the SE II, but the diameter of the spring bar tip is much smaller than the diameter of the spring bar holes of the case.
So, what you can do is to remove the tubes from the stock band and insert those tubes into the spring bar holes of the SE II and then use the stock Citizen 2.0mm x 1.1mm spring bars. It's still a bit loose, but I think this is the best way to do it.
Hope this helps!
I look forward to seeing some pics of yours.
