OK, what eaxctly is a Tsunami?

I know it's a modded/assembled watch from Jake B. I know the case kinda looks like a 6309. But, Is the case made by Jake? Is there a donor watch? If so, which one? Where does the movement come from? Do I supply a movement and does it get put in a new case? Specifics would be appreciated, because I'm a bit confused?

The movement is made by Seiko, but everything else is made for Jake. The quality is top notch.

The Tsunami is pure awesomeness! .

Where is our resident Tsunami guru Mr. Duke...? I could explain further, but this question was made for him.

Awesome read. Thanks for sharing that.

Were the original tsunamis really that expensive?

    Fascinating stuff.

Thanks for that, but what about my statement wasn't true? Sadly, Jake is on his own these days, so the parts are made for him.

The tsunami cases are still from the original batch quantities by Noah. I agree that these are assembled by Jake and he does an awesome job regulating before shipping, but a lot of the parts are still from Noah.

Jake has also put some awesome spins on the tsunami design.

Very few now, as we're closer to the end than the beginning.

    Thanks for the kind words.
