Funny you should share this, I was just feeling some appreciation for my SRP777's timekeeping. The last time I had it in rotation, it was doing -4s/d.

Feels like this is its way of thanking me for upgrading it to daily driver status over the last week, lol.

Me: (thinks) I wonder if any of the watches I'm waiting for have come into stock and the sellers have forgotten to tell me?

Whoever designed the SKX deserves a medal. I'm trying to justify getting a turtle but the design, although beautiful, just can't beat the SKX's. It (the SKX) is just so minimalistic, there's literally no shape there that is superfluous. Even the "1" on the bezel is just a straight line.

10 months of wearing my SKX without it stopping even once, that's ~155000000 beats so far, quite astonishing when you think about it..

    Re: Our common Seiko diary

Just some observations from today, the 20 minutes of it:

The holy trinity of BOC: Jacquard causeway - Telepath - Cold Earth
    SO good.

And I remembered hom stupidly people use the english language sometimes, like "irregardless" and "reiterate".

Also, my SKX consistently runs at -2s/day with normal wear, it's so great +_+

Right, seriously, whoever is reading this, google "Boards of Canada" + roygbiv. I may have saved your life.

    Re: Our common Seiko diary

I've owned many very expensive brands over the years including Omega, Rolex, Blancpain, Brietling, Tag Heuer etc. but whenever I put my SKX007 on I would ask myself why I needed anything more so all the others have been gone for a long time but this still remains

Thanks but I'm a 'Dayvan Cowboy' kinda guy!

Here's my entry to the diary:

I think I'm done buying Seikos for now. I've got a few vintage 70s chronos and a new SKX mod to keep me company. Contrary to how things were when I first got hooked, there is currently nothing on my 'want list.' Okay not entirely true, I do want a clean '71 6139-6012 (black dial, silver subdial) - but they don't really come up up often. I like how I've matured in this hobby.

Going through a bored phase, sold off all my Seiko's bar my awesome Shogun which I wear nearly every day.

Feel that I should buy the new turtle just because I should and not because I want to...... still bored what can I sell next

Do we get analyzed in this thread?, I think I need meds
