Waiting for my King Quartz and Grand Quartz to arrive. Hope they work.

I could list my watches here, but I won't.

Due to scarcity, my obsession with finding a reasonably priced SBDN003 is winding down. It's like slowly realizing that you, indeed, will never date the cheerleader.

    You never listen!!

You bought that 007 with the notion that it's perfect as is. But you just can't help yourself, can you!?
DLW, Harold and a couple others just fleeced you of $340 yesterday stupid.

You said leave it alone! You impulsive dips*%*t.

Scored a SRP773. YAAAAAY! Wait a minute, it's your third freaking turtle. What's wrong with you... You used to think those guys who owned the same watch model with different dial colors were plain silly. Now you've become one of them.

Why doesn't Seiko offer an automatic chronograph anymore!? I know they exist but they're fraking expensive, but then maybe the 6139 was $2000 back in the day too..

    Re: Our common Seiko diary

Became obsessed with obtaining a Black Monster (SRP307) recently, but finally realized I just couldn't get behind the new "teeth" indices without the minute numerals. I really dig the upgraded 4R36 movement though. Then became obsessed with the "Tuna Monster" (SRP637), but finally realized that yes, it was indeed too large for me to fully enjoy.

This is twice now that I've talked myself down from a Seiko purchase when in the past I would have settled and bought anyway. I feel like I've also matured in this hobby, and deserve a coin or something.

EDIT: Now considering upgrading a gen 1 monster with a 4R36...or putting a gen 1 monster dial on an SRP307...don't judge me.

Grand Quartz is here, but it doesn't seem right on a nato. Curses.

Knowing what you want is a good thing. Took me a couple of filled up watch boxes to start getting choosy.
