Not sure I get your 6R15 logic. The higher priced models get much better finishing and anti scratch properties without the inflated costs of a higher end movement, but I will say the green dial Alpinist might be the best all around value in the 6R15 watches. As I said above I've thought about flipping my higher cost 6R15 for a couple of Seikos, but the SARX033 still is a value for money piece at $800 that I'm sure I'd miss if I sold it. I don't feel in the slightest that it isn't worth the price of admission.

This has happened to me SO often.

Haven't given my SKX very much love over the last few days. The ol' trusty is running almost perfectly, couldn't ask for a better watch. I find the matte gray dial quite intriguing, such a weird colour choice.. I like it.

Oh yeah, that's why I came here: I had a nightmare, that my SKX had stopped! Very unrealistic indeed.

Saw these online the other day, I would really like one styled after a SKX007/Sumo/Turtle/MM300. MMMMmmm.... Would be really nice, complete with lume and all. Misaligned chapter ring would be a bonus, lol

Lume is really useful during the winter months (all 8 of them) when the sun sets at 15 o'clock.

    Forget lume!!
I'd be happy to trade you some of your winter months for what I had to pout up with today: 30 degrees + 90% humidity = feels like 35 degrees.

And, it's the end of October dammit!!!!!!!

What?! You're lying, I'm also "Right here" and that is certainly not the case! It's dark, damp, 5 degrees and windy.

    3 random thoughts:

    1. I wonder what the next 'Sumo'/'Turtle' will be (ie the next most popular diver).
    2. I have 2 borealis straps coming today or tomorrow, I'm pretty excited to see/feel them on my SRP637.
    3. Geckota (Watch Gecko's microbrand) has utilized the NH35 movement in their newest flight watches, which is pretty cool.

    I'd take that.

Last week, we hit a high of 36.5 deg C. With humidity around 89%.
