Seiko 009: is the dial blue or grey?

Hi, by looking at the pictures online it's not clear to me whether the 009K has a grey or blue dial. In some pictures it clearly looks blue (slightly darker hue than on the bezel), in others it appears like a dark grey to me. What do the owners say? Are there different batches produced having dials of different colours?

It's a very dark blue, when you put it next to a 007 it is much more obvious than seeing it on its own.

Dial is definitely blue on 009's, but its so dark that it looks black or very dark grey in pictures. In real life it can look black until you place it next to something like an 007 as Stuart77 said.

previously, i was always concerned about this too whenever i thought of buying it ... but finally pulled the trigger last week

it turns out to be a nice dark shade of blue, accentuated best in natural light
