    Seiko SRP 453 versus 455

Because I follow the "affordables" forum, I completely missed the news of limited edition monsters. Make note to follow "Seiko and Citizen" forum .

The Baby Tuna SRP453 is way lower priced (around $235 on Amazon) than the SRP455 (around $355). Any reasons why people might seem to favor the 455 over the 453? I'm a little unsure of the "shroud" thing since I'm only familiar with my beloved OM and 007.

Yes, I noticed that the MSRP is about $50 higher for the 453. I thought prices were supposed to skyrocket for limited edition Seiko's. Maybe only monsters and not tunas?

I bought the SRP455 as I did not care for the blue shroud
    My store sold all SRP455s

i went to the ad a couple of times looking and trying on the two blues... one time i like the 455 and dislike the 453... the other time it was the reverse... i'm still undecided...

Looking at an AD in Arizona, and the prices are flipped - Tuna is more expensive than the Monster.

Perhaps I should have just posted a "bargain price" thread that the Tuna is $236 on Amazon.
