I suppose it is because Harold doesn't get these dials straight from Seiko, but I'm uncertain.

You're correct, he doesn't get them from Seiko, he makes all the custom dials himself.
In small print on the bottom of the dial, on the left of the "6 o'clock" mark is the movement number and to the right, if you look closely, Yobokies is printed there.
I asked him the same thing when I ordered mine and he said a Seiko Monster dial and movement are far too pricy themselves, hence the $800+ price tag on an actual Snow Monster as opposed to a MOD

I'm just curious, how do you guys like the lume vs the stock monster lume? I see Harold's pictures, but would like people's impressions. ALso, does he sell ones with painted (blue) bezels or are people painting them all themeselves?

How does it compare to the "real" Seiko snow monster lume? I'm tempted by this... Does Harold sell the dial by itself?

The MOD lume is a tiny bit dimmer than the stock lume but it still looks great. It actually had the blue-green tinge color that the real Snow monster has, as opposed to the predominantly green lume of the orange and black monster.
Harold painted my bezel for me for an extra $5 but he won 't paint the triangle with the lume pip because he's afraid to damage it.
I'm not sure if he sells just the dial but it's worth shooting him an email to find out, he just might sell you one.

Like JR, I had Harold do my painting. I would never be able to do it myself. I think if you go to Harold's photobucket page you will see the dials you can order. (It should be one of the first hits when you google "Yobokies").

My lume is noticeably weaker than my stock OM, as is my lume on a Yobokies 007 mod I have. However, it is still way more lume than I would ever need!

No new members? I put the stock bracelet on the watch and I don't think I like it. It's back in the watch case until I get a Super Engineer II for it.

Nice MOD and thanks for sharing! Love the fully blasted bracelet and case.
Make me wish I blasted mine but that's what makes them different!
