Smile Strap options for my new SNK381K

    Hi everyone,
I have a new SNK381K arriving tomorrow and I was wondering what strap options would work out well, just in case I don't like the folded 18mm link bracelet.
Here is a picture of the watch.

Very nice choice! I think these SNK Seiko 5s with the leaf-shaped hands may be my favorites Seiko 5s.

I wear my SNK381 on a buffalo textured black leather strap with white stitching.

And I hope you know there are two more members of this family, a white-dialed SNK377 and a (now hard to find) green-dialed SNK379.

To my tastes, there is nothing like silver-outlined, fully lumed numerals!!

Thank you so much for all the info. It is a fantastic looking watch. Should be arriving today via usps.

Re: Strap options for my new SNK381K

This was good choice, and a special watch imo. It is a"descendant" of the 6119/6619 series of watches. These early watches are famous for being issued to special operations forces during the Vietnam war. There are several threads on other forums about them. If you just search for "Seiko 6119 SOG" you should come up with some information on them.

I have been meaning to pick one of these modern versions up for some time, but there is always something else that catches my eye.

Here is my 6619 Sportsmatics from 1966...

    And 1969...

    Oh, and I vote NATO.
