A tale of two Fathoms - Which FFF should I keep??

So, this Seiko thing got out of control last week when I bought two FFFs from other WUS members because I couldn't decide which I liked better. I only really want to keep one. I really thought I would like the "12-3-6-9" dial better but in person it's a toss up.

Here's quick pic - there are many better ones on other FFF threads around. I'm not sure what these versions are actually called.

Top: The numbered dial with black date wheel at 4 o'clock. Also, this one has a nicely bead-blasted case and bracelet with the bezel left polished. Also has strap with bead blasted deployment clasp.
Bottom: The red-letter "AUTOMATIK" dial with white date wheel at 3 o'clock. Also, this one has a nice display back.

I think the printing of the dial is slightly better on the numbered top dial, but the markers outlined in chrome on the bottom dial look fantastic.

I had one of the bottom ones in the gold version and think even in the silver I like it a little better than the top, but it's going to be more about what speaks to you.

I prefer the numbered dial with the black date wheel.

Actually mine did not have the date, but I still vote AUTOMATIK!

I like the top one. The red is distracting to me.

Good point about the hands. I wore the numbered dial for a while tonight and it bothered me that the minute hand completely obscures the number/markers.
