I'll buy that. It's a LE because they've decided to cap production but the limit is too high to meaningfully number on the caseback. I don't think I'd get that excited knowing I had 4821/6000.

Having said that I really like mine.

That makes sense, kinda ridiculous having a LE out of 6000, it honesty is more of a SE. But, I'm still very excited about getting in the Samurai. Makes me want to buy both the previous steel and titanium versions too! But, very few want to part with the titanium Samurai's! Seiko should have re-released the titanium version, they do, as a Company, and with their finishing, such a great job with titanium as a material.

It's a fantastic shade of blue. Beautiful but........ I do not like the pointed hour hand either. It should be longer. Being a lume fanatic, I find that it kind of disappears in the dark despite the great lume. Same with the Omega. I do have a Tudor Ranger and the hour hand it totally different and much nicer on the Tudor. Not in the same class whatsoever.

I also think that the 6R15 movement is completely overpriced. I have both the 6R15 and the 4R35 on several watches and the 6R15s seem to be the "problem children" of the lot. Not that the 4R35/36 are perfect but in my experience, they are tighter and just as accurate/inaccurate with about the same power reserve as the 6R15.

I'd have to echo your sentiments about the 6R15 versus the 4R35/36. I realize that the tolerances vary, as well as people's wear patterns vary with these movements, but my Sumo with the 6R15 has to be about the slowest of my bunch, easily losing 30 seconds per day right off the bat.

Very true, I never liked the bezel of the Sammy. That was the reason I never bought it. Now I decided to buy one and change the bezel.
