still not convinced by the monster's hands, having already a monster, as someone said, the short hour hand it is more difficult to see at night, imo this might have been a great oppurtunity to experiment with a new hands set, btw those hands are used with the shogun too.

It's a nice looking watch but Seiko could have tried a bit better and it could have been awesome. I'm sure people will find winning combinations (hand changes mostly) and make this piece extremely desirable

I am seeing a lot of folks talking about the chapter ring misalignment. Not sure I understand....is it the bezel that is misaligned or is it the dial itself ?

My chapter ring (between the bezel and the lumed hour markers) was aligned slightly to the left of center. Sometimes (ok, often with Seiko and Orient) the bezel will not click in alignment with 12:00 on the chapter ring or middle of the 12:00 lume marker.

I sent back my misaligned chapter ring and extremely hard to turn bezeled Samurai and received a perfectly aligned with great bezel action new one.

Unfortunately the movement is completely broken and the seconds won't move no matter how much I wind or shake the watch :(

So I'm giving up on this model. I'll think I'll be just fine with my PADI turtle :)
