Trying to figure out what watch i used to have (Citizens)

Hi all, new here. I blame my coworker for my recent spark in watch curiosity.

I wonder if any of you can figure out, based on my crude sketch, what model my old citizen watch is. I got it around 1987 and I believe it was in the Sharper Image catalog at the time, but I'm not positive on that point.

It was a dive watch, but it was ALL digital. It was all LCD. It had two timers, two alarms, a stop watch and the regular clock mode. (Could have had two clocks for all I remember).

The part on the top right of the face would spin around when you initiated the stop watch, and the bar through the middle would count up to ten, and then a block would "light up" every 5 seconds. In timer mode, this same bar would be used for minutes. The bar was also multi-colored, I think the right part was orange/reddish, then the middle was blue or green, but in my graphic i put it all orange because I couldn't remember.

Thanks all for any ideas of what this could be.

    -Anthony

First of all, welcome to Watchuseek! I think I have a pretty good handle on vintage digital watches, but that one has me stumped. Are you positive it was a Citizen, because Casio made some similar watches in their DW-7xxx line. Hopefully someone here can be of assistance, but it would be a good idea to also post this over in the Digitals Forum:

There are some very knowledgable vintage digital collectors there. Good luck!
    Regards,

    Gabe

It looks like a Sail timer watch to me, not a diver..

    OK, I found it:

It is a vintage Citizen Promaster model D120-312554

There were also 2 other variants of this digital Promaster:

    Model number D60-086953

    and....

    Model number D288-S45849

    Hope this helps!

You sure did... it was the D060-086953 Vintage Citizen PRO MASTER

Awesome, I am awed at how fast you figured it out. I spent at least two hours googling for it!

    Google: Vintage Citizen LCD.

This is a good site that pretty much compiles all Citizen LCD digitals made in the 1970s and 1980s:

May be the moderators can put a sticky to it over at the LCD watch forum.

Good work, MINIDriver! That's actually a windsurfing watch, not a diver.

    Here's a bigger pic:

And here's a thread where a member refurbished one:

Hi, I just saw your post and just want to add that there is one more version of citizen d060. It looks like that:

The number at the back of it is D060-086864 Y
I got it about 20 years ago, and I have changed the battery only twice since then (or maybe 3 times). Works all the time!
Everything is oryginal apart of the wristband (it was rubber, green).
Great watch, but recently stopped to be water resistant and I cannot swim with it. Do you know where could I buy the case, gaskets, or at least the band?
I got the watch on my first communion, so it means to me more than just a collectible (i know I'm sentimental ;)

Get in touch with Citizen Customer service and see if they can help you source the replacement parts plus make the repairs. Remember that sometimes it is very difficult to find spare parts for watches of this age.
