recently see flight attendant mostly wearing cheapo watches... those $10 kind...
might be a company policy of not hving a flashy watch.

    would prefer a GPS watch...

But an automatic that takes a minute to reset after a few days in the drawer is no big deal for most of us, yet for her (and my wife) it's a nuisance that mitigates regular use.

Almost everything citizen makes now is eco drive which is helpful in shopping. Not so much in narrowing down.

    Thanks again!

Post what you decide to get. This is a good topic as I tend to like watches that people in that industry wear.

As well as at least 2 time zones make sure it has a Day function. When you're crossing the zones and your body is all over the place it's very hard to remember what day it is!

The citizen world time is a strong contender. Though the styling seems a bit off. I like the stainless but not for her. The color combinations on the gold ones aren't speaking to me. But other siblings may have a better grasp. This is fun anyhow I'll post the decision when reached. Thanks again all.

I know it's not a Seiko but in this case I would recommend a 36mm Glycine Airman, while big for a woman it's still wearable.

It may get annoying explaining that it's an homage and not a fake, but the Steinhart ocean 1 GMT pays tribute to a watch that was created to solve a real problem for those in flight. An automatic may not be the best recommendation though.

Why would you have to explain it to anyone? It's just a watch, no one would really care too much about it.

Well first... does she like watches? If not, I would hate to suggest a Apple Watch or a Fitbit. If she happens to like them, you can pick up a bevy of seiko or citizens with gmt function for under $500.

Was on a flight recently where one of the FA's in my section of the pane sported a Rolex Daytona.. Looked stunning.

But yes, most of them seem to wear G-Shocks or Baby-G's.

I found this Farer Barnato watch via a GearPatrol story yesterday.

    https://usd.farer.com/collections/g-...oducts/barnato

I've never heard of them before. But it might work. Although the water resistance is low and it seems expensive for quartz. But I don't know the market for these. It's named after Diana Barnato Walker. But they have a version in black as well that's named after someone else.
