    Yobokies Beads Of Rice Review

Ordered the new BOR last weekend, opted for the faster delivery and it was dropped off yesterday.

I was interested on using this on a 007 pilot/ diver as I thought it needed the contrasting polished center links to match the shiny bits on the watch compared to the all matte finish on the Anvil. Although Harold's new solid clasp is very nice and I have it installed on a Hammer I decided to go with the classic stamped clasp with this watch as I find them more comfortable.

Fit and finish: all solid link construction, with the ability to remove any link via push pins. The folded end links fit the 007 case perfectly and allow for easy install and removal. The push button clasp is quiet when closed.

Comfort: because of the multi faceted links there's a bit more give than in oyster style bracelets. Also the oval shaped outer links don't dig into the wrist. It's a bit lighter than the Hammer and Anvil but still heavy enough to balance the watch.

All in all another winner from Harold.

Thanks Dan for a great review with awesome pics! I've always wished for BOR to suit a Seiko and now it's here and
its appears to be well executed. I am working on an orange dial mod 007 that should look fantastic with one of these.

    Cheers

Oh!... and a great mod too

Great pictures and review - very nice bracelet!

I literally spent months looking for this exact bracelet for a "Soxa".

Sweet, been waiting for a real life review while waiting for Harold to receive the 6309-704x end links. Curious about the clasp on the Hammer. Do you have to have it open at all for your regular wearing fitment? If so how does it look? (hint-hint...pics?)

DP it looks great. Was wondering are the folded end links flimsy like stock Seiko or more robust?

20mm version would be terrific on the MM300. Wish Harold would make the end links.

    Kind Regards,
    Nick

No exactly sure of your question but here are a few pics of the solid clasp on the Hammer.

They may be a tab thicker than Seiko end links. But they really play no role in the integrity of the watch/ bracelet connection. The large spring bars and solid center links secure that connection. Rather they just fill the gap and make strap changes much easier.
